The Wunder Box was commissioned by The Blue Coat, Liverpool’s centre for contemporary art for Liverpool Light Night 2017. The project is a re-imagined version of the Peep Shows of old, an immersive, audio/visual installation that transports the viewer to another world. The mysterious Nuesha invites you to put on head-phones and look inside the peculiar Wunder Box. Viewers experience a serene island, floating somewhere in space. As the island’s ‘Keeper’, visitors can ask Nuesha questions about the island, although her strange, cryptically philosohpical answers may feature anything from space travel and quantum physics to starsigns.
