This piece was commissioned by All Together Now in 2019 and is now a permanent feature at Curraghmore House & Gardens.
Festivals can be quite destructive for the land because they require a lot of resources and the use of carbon heavy vehicles, machinery, generators etc. One way to reduce this environmental impact is to create permanent structures, stages and art installations from renewable materials. This also helps the festival create a positive legacy and attendees will feel more connected to the site as they witness it evolve and grow over the years.
